Nancy Amirkhanian, M.A., R.P.
Nancy Amirkhanian completed a masters degree in psychology in 2014. She spent the majority of her career working in various clinical settings supporting individuals struggling with mental health issues helping them gain the necessary skills to live a fulfilling life and reach their personal goals. Recently, she has shifted her focus towards working with children helping them build the confidence they need to work through academic challenges to help them achieve scholastically. Barriers with learning, whether it be due to an identified learning disability or simply struggling with a particular subject, can trigger feelings of shame, stress, anxiety, and in some cases depression. A supportive learning space tailored to meet the child’s identified needs and learning style can help overcome these obstacles. Nancy’s approach to working with children is gentle, warm, fun, and attuned to your child’s learning needs. She incorporates her knowledge and experience in psychology in her work with children to help contribute to their success.
